Support for Vulnerable and Orphans – Uganda organization is a fully registered charitable community based organization that aims at changing lives of children especially orphaned and those that are vulnerable. This organization was founded in 2020 by Kalulu Frank and Kalulu Innocent Daniel currently operating in Mayuge district and neighboring communities.
This organization started as a mall outreach ministry operating in eastern districts by providing education sponsorship to orphans and vulnerable children in local schools in Mayuge and Iganga districts. We are passionate about helping needy people. Due to increased numbers of disabled and special needs, orphaned children due to HIV/AIDS and accidents.
Support for Vulnerable and Orphans - Uganda strives to feed over 500 vulnerable orphans in our community of operation. On a daily basis, we mobilize resources to buy food and drinks for these helpless people. However, we are financially constrained and urgently need a helping hand through donations to keep the feeding project running. Your kind support is urgently needed.
Food insecurity is one of the major challenges affecting our community. In order to address this challenge, we started farming on a manageable scale where we grow food crops like maize, beans, tomatoes, potatoes, among others. We need reinforcement in this project in order to buy seeds, pestcides, fertilizers, farm equipments and machinery among others.
This project aims at equipping our community members, especially the youth with vocational skills such as tailoring, bricklaying and craftswork for self-sustainability. Our community has a large number of school-dropouts who lack jobs because they are not skilled to compete in the labour market. We need items like sewing machines, bricklaying machinery, among others.
Our community suffers from the lack of enough water for both domestic use and watering/irrigating crops. We are embarking on the construction and renovation of water sources in order to address this challenge..
